Nathan Smith – President

Nate Smith has been involved in the Plastic Injection Molding field for over twenty years. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Nichols College, has served as the President of the Connecticut Section of SPI, and is currently a Board Member of the Machinery Dealers National Association. He has been involved in capital equipment and systems since 1991. Nate is a Certified Equipment Appraiser as well as a licensed auctioneer. He is also a co-founder and Vice President of our affiliated companies Absolute Haitian Corporation and Absolute Green Energy Corporation.

Michael Ortolano- Vice President

Mike has also been involved in the Plastic Injection Molding field for over twenty years. He has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and has served five years in the US Navy as a Nuclear Propulsion Program Project Officer. He has served as the President of the Massachusetts Section of SPI, currently serves on the SPI Machinery Division's Safety Committee, and has been involved with engineering systems since 1989. Mike is a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer. He is also a co-founder and Treasurer of our affiliated company Absolute Haitian Corporation and co-founder and President of Absolute Green Energy Corporation.

Stephen Murdoch- Sales Manager

Stephen has been the sales manager for Absolute Machinery Corporation since 2007. He holds a Bachelors Degree in English/Communications from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Stephen has over ten years experience in running a fast-paced, customer-driven sales organization. As a former business owner and experienced sales manager, he has a strong focus on meeting and exceeding customers' expectations.

Dmitri Strunkin- New England Sales Consultant

Dmitri has a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He has a vast expertise in industrial machinery sales and a keen focus on customer needs. Dmitri has been the New England Sales Consultant since 2008 and thrives on finding customers the best solution to their equipment requirements. He is responsible for generating new business, servicing existing accounts, and managing projects throughout New England, New York & New Jersey.

Don Detenber- Sales Representative

Don is Absolute Machinery's "elder statesman" with nearly 55 years experience in the chemical, rubber, and plastic industries. He was a chemist and technical troubleshooter for DuPont, VP of Sales for Lombard Industries (a manufacturer of injection molding machines that became part of Farrel) and a small business owner for more than 30 years selling new and used plastic processing equipment. He works part time on our Sales force as well as assisting with appraisals.
