Thank you for purchasing your used injection molding machines and equipment from Absolute Machinery Corporation. The information below should answer most of the questions that you may have when purchasing used equipment and help to make the process as easy as possible for you. The following is covered in this document:

Payment Information, Freight Information, Packaging, and Loading.
Please note that all of our used equipment is sold as-is, where-is with no warranties expressed or implied unless otherwise noted on your invoice. Payment for equipment is due prior to pick up.

Payment Information

Payment may be made via the following methods:

• For items purchased through eBay, buyers may use PayPal for items less than $10,000 or may finance items more than $2500 – subject to credit approval – via our Direct Capital online application.
• For all items less than $2500, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
• For all items we accept Cash, Bank Check, Money Order, or Wire Transfer. These forms of payment provide immediate release of shipment – subject to a 24 hour advance notice of pickup as described below. Wire Transfer information is provided upon request.
• Company or Personal Checks are accepted; however, pickup may be scheduled only after the funds have cleared (typically 3-5 business days after receipt).

Packaging and Loading

The customer is responsible for selecting the freight carrier and scheduling the pick-up of your item(s). To assist in this process we provide the following information:

• Warehouse Hours:
  7:00am – 3:00pm Monday through Friday
• Advance Notification:
  A minimum of 24 hour advance notification of pick-up is required. Please call our Main Office at Tel: 508-792-4305 to schedule your pick-up.

Shipping Recommendations

We suggest that all shipments be on air ride trailers and for machines being shipped on open flat bed trailers, we require that they be tarped. Please be sure to instruct your truck driver that they must have tarps and straps to ensure safe, secure and protected shipments.

Insurance:
You are responsible for insuring the equipment during shipment, as Absolute Machinery Corporations terms and conditions specify the FOB point to be the pick-up point for all shipments. This means that once the equipment is loaded onto the truck the title transfers from Absolute Machinery Corporation to you, the buyer. You should contact your insurance carrier to determine if your shipment is covered under your existing insurance coverage or if you need to purchase insurance for your specific shipment (normally this can be done directly through your insurance carrier).

Freight Haulers / Carriers:
If you do not have an established relationship with a carrier, Absolute Machinery can provide you with a list of carriers we have used successfully in the past. However, we, in no way, can be responsible for their performance on any specific shipment. If you use any of these carriers and have an unsatisfactory experience, we would very much appreciate if you would share that information with us.

Loading/ Crating:
Loading and or crating fees may apply to your specific order. Please refer to your sales quotation for the details of those charges or call our logistics department for the information.
